Still tweaking technique -- still learning since I made it up. Revisited Jason, removed his hand from composition, redid some of the awkward 'mummy bandage' strokes on legs. Better, I think. (Update 2-12-15: tweaked composition/paint details some more)

Well, back to this image, the one I started this blog with. I've learned a lot since starting this illustration technique, and finding the right level of detail has been a challenge. Observing and gleaning information from a crummy digital photo is difficult, but there's an amazing amount to observe and deduce.
